The current owner of this roadster bought it from Lincoln, Nebraska in the early 1990’s as a basket case.  The car started out as a nice, solid original car needing a few difficult to source pieces in order to be complete.  As luck would have it, the owner found an Austin running gear with associated parts.  The owner embarked on an extensive restoration.

No expense was spared in the restoration of this gorgeous roadster to its current beautiful condition.  The body was restored by Rick Shirinako in Johnson, Kansas and the running gear was restored and rebuilt by Orion Engineering in Papillion, Nebraska.  The owner estimates that he has at least $30,000 invested in this Austin roadster.

The car had around 100 miles put on it before it was placed in long term storage in the owner’s private collection where it has resided over the last 14 years.

The car is located in Nebraska and the owner is asking $30,000 but will consider reasonable offers.
